We are pleased to welcome you and your family, and we look forward to working with you.
I have been working in dentistry for more than ten years. I have worked as an EFDA, treatment coordinator, and receptionist before joining the orthodontic field in 1999. I love the challenge of a patient that may come in a little nervous and turning that nervousness into a fun experience. The excitement of the patients when they start seeing the improvement in their smile even before the braces come off is something special to see. Every person in this office has a great sense of humor and we have a lot of fun together. We work together so well; we step up and do what needs to be done to keep the office running as efficient as possible.
I am married with two boys, Colin and Conner. We have a cat we rescued named Apollo and recently added a lab named Marley Mae to the mix. Our boys keep us very busy with their sports, but when we are not at a game, we love to be out on the water or doing anything outdoors. In my spare time, I enjoy decorating, refurbishing furniture, shopping, and watching football!
Treatment Coordinator /Receptionist
I graduated from Spruce Creek High School and earned my AA at Daytona State College. I joined Dr. Poppell’s office in 2001. This team, including Dr. Poppell, has become an extension of my family. I have many memories thanks to this job and will always be grateful for this experience. One of the things I like best about my job is having the pleasure of meeting new people and developing relationships that have lasted for many years. I enjoy networking with people of various walks of life and on many levels who have helped made a significant difference in my life.
I love living by the beach with my boyfriend Jason, a bulldog named and Axel, and a rabbit named Ozzy. While enjoying the scenery is my first love, my second love is the gym—healthy living is definitely my way of life. Spending time with family and friends along with fine wine tops the cake!
I had the pleasure of starting to work for Dr. Poppell and our fantastic staff in 2011. In addition to welcoming new patients and scheduling appointments, I also act as a financial advisor, help around the office, and assist in the clinic, as I am also an EFDA. I really enjoy welcoming new patients and relatives to our family of patients. It’s a lot of fun to build personal relationships and seeing our patients look at their new smiles after completing treatment.
I am a proud mother of three girls and married to a brave man who has served our country for 30 years. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, baking, party planning, and spending quality time with my family who I love dearly.
I attended Daytona State College’s dental program and began my career as an orthodontic assistant in 2007. I enjoy seeing patients take pride in their smile and learn about the importance of taking care of their teeth. I also enjoy easing people’s fears about dentistry through patience and education. Working with Dr. Poppell has been a pleasure. He is ethical, knowledgeable, and a perfectionist when it comes to our patients’ smiles. Our office is a support atmosphere that is always full of laughter!
I am married with two daughters, two dogs, and two snakes—a full house! I love to fish, hunt, and play sports, as well as coach softball and spend time with my family.
