After having braces in my teens, I always knew I wanted to work in the field of orthodontics. Making people smile everday couldn't feel more rewarding! From High School I immediately started school in Maitland in 2009 at Lincoln Tech. Following graduation in 2010, I received certificates in Dental Assisting, Dental Radiology, CPR and Expanded functions. Once I was given the opportunity to begin my career in this field I never looked back. Over the years also continuing my education earning my Certified Orthodontic Assistant diploma. I am a lucky mother of 3 children, 2 girls and 1 boy and married to a wonderful husband. We have a dog named Moana and a cat named Olaf. We are a Disney loving family, with our favorite past time's, rollerskating, traveling and spending time with my immediate and extended family all over the country.
Treatment Coordinator /Receptionist
I graduated from Spruce Creek High School and earned my AA at Daytona State College. I joined Dr. Poppell’s office in 2001. This team, including Dr. Poppell, has become an extension of my family. I have many memories thanks to this job and will always be grateful for this experience. One of the things I like best about my job is having the pleasure of meeting new people and developing relationships that have lasted for many years. I enjoy networking with people of various walks of life and on many levels who have helped made a significant difference in my day to day routine.
Living in New Smyna Beach we live a fun, relaxed lifestyle where my fiance Jason and I have a Chocolate Lab named Nalla Belle and crazy rabbit, Ozzy. While enjoying the scenery is my first love, my second love is the gym—healthy living is definitely my way of life. Spending time with family and friends along with fine wine tops the cake!
I had the pleasure of starting to work for Dr. Poppell and our fantastic staff in 2011. In addition to welcoming new patients and scheduling appointments, I also act as a financial advisor, help around the office, and assist in the clinic, as I am also an EFDA. I really enjoy welcoming new patients and relatives to our family of patients. It’s a lot of fun to build personal relationships and seeing our patients look at their new smiles after completing treatment.
I am a proud mother of three girls and married to a brave man who has served our country for 30 years. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, baking, party planning, and spending quality time with my family who I love dearly.
I attended Daytona State College’s dental program and began my career as an orthodontic assistant in 2007. I enjoy seeing patients take pride in their smile and learn about the importance of taking care of their teeth. I also enjoy easing people’s fears about dentistry through patience and education. Working with Dr. Poppell has been a pleasure. He is ethical, knowledgeable, and a perfectionist when it comes to our patients’ smiles. Our office is a support atmosphere that is always full of laughter!
I am married with two daughters, two dogs, and two snakes—a full house! I love to fish, hunt, and play sports, as well as coach softball and spend time with my family.
